BBF Safety Group is a trusted workplace safety solutions provider, keeping millions of people safe everyday – driven not only by profits, but by bringing about positive change in the communities in which they operate, the people they employ and the network of suppliers and clients with whom they trade. BBF is proudly committed to South Africa and fiercely focused on delivering on transformation, industrialisation and development.
As an advocate for the sustainable growth of the South African manufacturing sector, BBF constantly strives to procure and produce as much locally as is commercially feasible. Supporting local is crucial in protecting and creating South African jobs, assisting the growth of local businesses and empowering them to succeed on both a local and international scale.
BBF Safety Group signed up a group of learners to complete ODI’s NQF3: Supervision for energised work teams. George Meiring facilitated this learnership.
Comprising of 8 modules, NQF3: Supervision for energised work teams aims at equipping every first-line manager with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to:
- Develop, lead and inspire productive workplace teams.
- Ensure that all team members are developed to their full potential.
Our Supervision for Energised Work Teams programme has been offered since 1989. It was always used to strengthen the implementation of a structured CI programme. With the introduction of accredited learning, ODI leaped at the opportunity to give people who do all this hard work credits, and an actual qualification (National Certificate: Generic Management – Supervisory NQF3). Little did we know at the time that this will eventually lead to a full career development opportunity, that includes many different qualifications.
