Purpose
The purpose of this skills programme is to prepare a Project Management Facilitator to support and enhance project management practices within a workplace environment. This includes providing guidance, resources and assistance to teams and individuals involved in projects, facilitating effective communication, streamlining processes and promoting collaboration to support the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
From ideas to impact
Successful projects need more than a good idea. They need clear plans, coordinated people and steady progress from start to finish. This programme develops practical skills to assist teams in defining objectives, milestones and deliverables, identifying resources and creating realistic timelines. It also focuses on facilitating communication between stakeholders, team members and leadership so that goals, expectations and progress remain aligned. The programme further covers coordinating access to information and resources, scheduling activities and integrating project work into normal operations. By monitoring progress, identifying risks, supporting mitigation strategies and conducting post-project evaluations, participants can help turn ideas into well managed projects and opportunities for continuous improvement.
