The main objective of Key 1 of the 20 Keys system for continuous improvement, is to make work more safe, easier, and more productive, by creating organised and clean workplaces that all people are proud of.
This leads to:
- energised work teams,
- improved motivation, and
- improved productivity of people and machines.
Recently ODI’s MD: Huibie Jones visited County Fair Muldersvlei Farms Admin.
“The enthusiasm at County Fair Muldersvlei Farms Admin was electric this morning. It was just incredible to observe the team effort; to make the work environment more productive and organised. They can be very proud of their workplace. The project was driven by Chantel Williams and formed part of her Key 1 E-Learning programme. The programme consists of five levels of quizzes, followed by a practical activity. Chantel’s submission delivered even more than expected and ODI was able to certify the store as a Model Store. The principles of setting up model workplace stores are based on visual management.
Well done Chantel and thank you Merlin Du Preez for leading such a great team!”
See below a glimpse into their success.
